Hi everyone!! We're back at it again with our first tropical destination of the year ~the Bahamasssss~!!! We were here for Dylan's sales trip and it was the perfect gathering place for everyone to mingle and have a great week getting to know each other! We had the best week making new friends and can't wait to see everyone again so soon! Trip details and info below. :) About the Resort:
Baha Mar is a resort in Nassau about 15 minutes from the airport. This is a very kid friendly resort made up of 3 hotels (all with different price points/levels of luxury). We stayed at the Grand Hyatt on Baha Mar, which was nothing short of incredible. We stayed in an ocean view room overlooking the most gorgeous blue water. The Grand Hyatt hotel has everything you could possibly want or need at your fingertips- a casino, the best night life, amazing staff, delicious restaurants, and so much more! The other hotels on site are the SLS and Rosewood. We had a chance to explore both of these a little bit while we were there, and I must say, if we ever make our way back to Baha Mar, the Rosewood is where we will be! The elegance and style of this hotel and it's property was breathtaking! All 28 restaurants on property and the shared pools and waterpark are available to all guests, so no matter which hotel you choose, you're in good hands!

What We Did:
The majority of our time in Nassau was spent at Baha Mar in the Nexus Club that Assured Partners (Dylan's company) rented out for us the whole time. This club had it's own private pool, and they set up free drinks and food all day for us! It was the best time getting to meet new friends and network over those 5 amazing days! One day, we snuck down to the Elixir pool and secured a cabana for us and all of our new friends! We stayed there until it was time for our nightly event and barely had time to get ready (no one wants to leave a poolside cabana with all their friends)!!! We did try to take a boat and snorkeling tour the company reserved for us during our time there as well, but unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, so we came back to the resort early that day and stayed at the Nexus Club! Oh- there are flamingos all over this resort so we obviously spent some time with them too. :)

Our Favorite Food and Drink:

Since this was a work trip for Dylan- we didn't get to explore the resort as much as we normally would, but we have some favorites that I'm going to break out for you! Our favorite restaurant was by far Marcus. This restaurant is complete culinary excellence from its amazing food and drinks to the outstanding staff- you can't go wrong with dinning here! Some of our favorites on the menu were the oysters, grilled octopus, conch fritters, spaghetti piccadilly, and Ms. G's conch salad. If you don't go here for anything else-you must go here and get a conch salad and rake and scrape at the bar! You will NOT regret it! If you go-ask for Paul! If you don't leave that place smiling after having a conversation with him, I don't know what else can lift your spirits! Our favorite lunch spot was The Palms. This was a poolside restaurant where I had the most amazing lobster grilled cheese of my life (I consider myself a lobster grilled cheese connoisseur. If it's on the menu, I'm getting it).
Nightlife:
Our favorite spots for nightlife this trip were the Jazz Bar and the Sky Bar! Both centrally located in Baha Mar! The Jazz bar was such a fun environment with live music every night (my favorite) and the Sky Bar is a rooftop with stunning views of the resort and an amazing DJ! The drinks at both places were amazing- but my recommendation is to stop by the Jazz Bar for an espresso martini night cap. :) Overall, this was an amazing trip at stunning resort, and such a great experience. We can't wait to be back in the Bahamas soon! Assured Partners- thanks for the fun time!! Until next year!
